You will be responsible for ensuring robust commercial governance while driving performance and value across the portfolio. </li><li>In return, you’ll benefit from exposure to large-scale, complex programmes, the opportunity to shape commercial outcomes, and clear progression within a dynamic and evolving environment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Your duties and responsibilities will be:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide commercial leadership and guidance across projects, contracts, and bids</li><li>Develop and implement risk-based commercial strategies</li><li>Act as the commercial lead for complex and high-risk issues</li><li>Ensure compliance with commercial governance and internal policies</li><li>Support and influence project teams to optimise commercial performance</li><li>Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships</li><li>Lead and develop a commercial team, providing mentoring and direction</li><li>Support financial management including project reporting and P&L input</li><li>Contribute to bid activity, including commercial documentation and strategy</li><li>Promote consistent commercial awareness and best practice across teams</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>You will have the following qualifications & experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Degree qualified (or equivalent), ideally in Law, Quantity Surveying or similar</li><li>Significant experience in commercial management on large and complex contracts</li><li>Proven track record of delivering commercial strategy and managing risk</li><li>Experience supporting bids and contract negotiations</li><li>Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and influencing skills</li><li>Demonstrable experience leading and developing teams</li><li>Strong knowledge of NEC contracts</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>It’s great if you also have the following:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience working across multiple business units or complex delivery environments</li><li>Ability to drive commercial best practice and knowledge sharing</li><li>Experience developing commercial capability within teams</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>The setting for the role</strong></p><p>This role is based within a flexible project delivery environment, working across multiple teams and stakeholders. xwzovoh You will operate across a portfolio of projects and bids, collaborating with senior leadership and project teams to deliver commercial success.</p>
