From our world-famous hampers to our exquisite teas and fine foods, every product tells a story of heritage, quality, and craftsmanship.<br>We are now seeking a full time Chef de Partie (45 hours) someone who shares our passion for excellence, food and is committed to delivering a truly memorable experience to every customer who walks through our doors.<br>WhyWorkForUs:<br>Competitivehourlyrate+paidovertime<br><br>Discretionaryannualbonus(upto5%ofsalary)<br><br>Upto40%storeandrestaurantdiscounts<br><br>28daysholiday+adayoffforyourbirthdayand5extrawellbeingdaysoff<br><br>Matchedpensionschemeandcareerdevelopmentopportunities<br><br>Great pathways for career development and progression, with opportunities to grow within Fortnum & Masons diverse and dynamic business.<br><br>And because we value your service with us, we give you additional annual leave and incredible gifts once youve been with us for 5 years<br><br>WhatYou'llDo:<br>Working with the Senior Team to ensure the food is delivered to the highest standard in the section of responsibility<br><br>Coach and develop Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs to ensure their skills are being enhanced, leading by example<br><br>Check the Section for standards regularly ensuring that all audits and temperature checks are completed<br><br>Take ownership of the stocktake and feedback any key indicators to the Head chef<br><br>Pre-empt any pinch points within the kitchen, and highlight them to your line manager<br><br>Work closely with the Restaurant team to ensure a collaborative partnership between front and back of house<br><br>Communicate effectively ensuring that the teams are aware of the menu<br><br>Demonstrate high levels of planning, organising, and time management to drive the operational execution across the section<br><br>Ensure adherence to company policies, controls and standards (e.g. due diligence, cleanliness, and HSE)<br><br>Monitor and maintain inventory, ensuring these are highlighted to the Senior Chefs<br><br>WhatWe'reLookingFor:<br>Experience within a busy restaurant kitchen as a Chef de Partie - Essential<br><br>Willing to learn and grow<br><br>Passionate about food<br><br>Have excellent longevity with your past employers<br><br>Maintaining Food Safety standards<br><br>Please note that Fortnum & Mason is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
