Sous Chef

We currently have a position available in our kitchen for a sous chef. This position is a varied role within a busy hotel kitchen. Catering for residents, guests, weddings and functions, you will need to have previous experience within a busy kitchen and Salary is Negotiable<br /><br />We are looking for the following qualities and experience:<br /><br />You will have experience working in a restaurant/hotel kitchen<br /><br />You will be passionate about working with food cooked to order in a fast-paced environment<br /><br />You will have high standards and a good eye for detail<br /><br />You will ensure all dishes are cooked to high standards whilst being delivered at speed<br /><br />You will thrive working under pressure and being part of a busy team<br /><br />You will have great planning and organisational skills<br /><br />You will have a good understanding of food hygiene and health and safety.<br /><br />You will be able to lead a team and assist the head chef in the management of the kitchen<br /><br />Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently<br /><br />Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards<br /><br />Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment<br /><br />Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards<br /><br />Keep waste to a minimum<br /><br />Carry out any reasonable duty to assist in the smooth running of the kitchen<br /><br />Experience Is Essential. Applicants Must Be Fully Qualified In Catering, And Possess Basic Hygiene Certificate. Ability To Work As Part Of An Established And Efficient Team In A Fast Paced Environment, As Well As On Own Initiative Is Of Vital Importance.
