<strong>Tenancy Sustainment Worker</strong> <strong>Location:</strong> Exeter <strong>Rate:</strong> £15.34 per hour <strong>Contract:</strong> Full-time (37 hours per week) Permanent <strong>Hours:</strong> Between 8:00am - 10:00pm on a rolling rota (Monday-Sunday)We are currently recruiting for a <strong>Tenancy Sustainment</strong> Worker to join a supported accommodation service in <strong>Exeter</strong>, helping young people build the skills and confidence needed to live independently.<strong>The Role</strong>You will provide <strong>key worker support to vulnerable people</strong>, helping them develop life skills and sustain their tenancies while working towards independent living. The role involves working as part of a supportive team within a residential setting.<strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Provide <strong>one-to-one key worker support</strong> for young people in supported accommodation</li><li>Develop and review <strong>support plans, risk assessments and risk management plans</strong></li><li>Help young people <strong>build life skills and maintain their tenancies</strong></li><li>Support individuals to access <strong>relevant services, education, and opportunities</strong></li><li>Work collaboratively within a <strong>multidisciplinary team</strong></li><li>Maintain accurate records and documentation</li><li>Ensure all work is carried out in line with <strong>safeguarding policies and procedures</strong></li></ul><strong>Requirements</strong><ul><li>Ability to <strong>engage and build rapport with young people</strong></li><li>Understanding of <strong>support planning, safeguarding, and mental health awareness</strong></li><li>Experience or understanding of <strong>risk assessment and risk management</strong></li><li><strong>Full UK driving licence</strong></li><li>Ability to work <strong>flexibly on a rota including evenings and weekends</strong></li><li>Comfortable with <strong>short periods of lone working</strong></li></ul><strong>Ideal Candidate</strong><ul><li>Creative and <strong>person-centred approach to support</strong></li><li><strong>Resilient, flexible and proactive</strong></li><li>Strong <strong>organisation and communication skills</strong></li><li>Ability to <strong>manage a caseload and prioritise tasks</strong></li><li>Positive attitude and a genuine passion for <strong>supporting young people</strong></li></ul> <strong>Please note:</strong> An <strong>Enhanced DBS check</strong> will be required for this role due to the nature of the work. <strong>If you're interested in taking the next step in a career supporting young people, please get in touch for more information or to apply.</strong><strong>CVs Emailed to </strong><strong></strong><strong> or call if you have any questions</strong><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?p4QwZ6nBSKkrMeiKCwEnA2ueAl0dG3Ene" width="0" height="0" />
