<p><strong>SOLUTION ARCHITECT, DV SECURITY CLEARANCE, HYBRID</strong></p><p>My client, a leading organisation within the public sector, is seeking an experienced <strong>Solution Architect</strong> to work on a hybrid basis, with travel across UK sites when required.</p><p>As a member of the Architecture team, you will support the Senior Architect in delivering enterprise-level design and technical expertise across a range of complex ICT projects. You will play a key role in ensuring systems, infrastructure, and services are secure, scalable, and aligned with strategic objectives.</p><p>You will be responsible for designing, leading, and delivering high-quality technical solutions, while balancing competing demands and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design and document "As-Is" and "To-Be" architectures across multiple projects</li><li>Develop detailed technical solution designs, ensuring alignment with business needs, security standards, and strategic architecture</li><li>Lead the software development lifecycle, including design, build, implementation, and quality assurance</li><li>Produce architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation plans</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions</li><li>Manage and coordinate development teams, ensuring delivery is on track and meets quality standards</li><li>Identify and mitigate architectural risks and technical debt across programmes</li><li>Conduct technical experiments and validations to support design decisions</li><li>Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks and cross-project dependencies</li><li>Maintain strong relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders</li></ul><p><strong>Key Skills & Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong experience in <strong>solution and application architecture</strong>, including working with frameworks such as TOGAF</li><li>Extensive hands-on development experience (e.g. <strong>.NET Core, ASP.NET, Blazor</strong>)</li><li>Strong knowledge of <strong>databases</strong> (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL technologies)</li><li>Experience with <strong>cloud platforms</strong> (AWS, Azure) and well-architected frameworks</li><li>Solid understanding of <strong>Linux, networking, and virtualisation (VMware)</strong></li><li>Expertise in designing Microsoft environments (Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, PKI)</li><li>Experience designing secure, high-availability systems and infrastructure</li><li>Knowledge of <strong>network technologies</strong> (Cisco, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, security controls)</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>Agile and ITIL methodologies</strong></li><li>Experience producing documentation suitable for high-security accreditation environments</li><li>Strong stakeholder management and communication skills</li><li>Ability to mentor and support junior team members</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Understanding of <strong>Government Security Classifications</strong> and security frameworks</li><li>Experience working in secure environments and with accreditation processes</li><li>Eligibility for <strong>DV (STRAP) Security Clearance</strong> is essential</li><li>Willingness to travel to UK sites as required</li></ul><p><strong>SOLUTION ARCHITECT, DV SECURITY CLEARANCE, HYBRID</strong></p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?fD6Rn5hL2vUR%2fonbMAP%2bghnORpQZ6DMfa" width="0" height="0" />
