<p><strong>Site Technician - Traffic Data & Equipment Installation</strong></p><p> Location: London (Maidenhead area preferred)</p><p> Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum (DOE)</p><p> Job Type: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>My client is an established and growing traffic design consultancy and data collection company looking to recruit a Site Technician to support ongoing projects across the UK.</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on, practical work and is comfortable working outdoors, travelling, and using tools and equipment.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>As a Site Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining traffic data collection equipment at various locations. Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to develop technical skills in a specialist field.</p><p><strong>Key Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Installation of traffic monitoring equipment on public highways </li><li>Use of power tools such as drills for secure installation </li><li>Installing battery-powered CCTV/ANPR cameras on lamp columns (ladder work required) </li><li>Reading maps and identifying survey locations </li><li>Driving a company van to sites across the region </li><li>Downloading and managing data collected from equipment </li><li>Travelling to various locations as required </li></ul><p><strong>Candidate Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Full UK Driving Licence (essential) </li><li>Comfortable with outdoor, physical work and working at height </li><li>Basic computer literacy </li><li>Flexible approach to working hours and travel </li><li>Willingness to occasionally work evenings or weekends (by agreement) </li><li>CSCS card (preferred, not essential) </li></ul><p><strong>What's on Offer</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive salary (£28,000 - £35,000 DOE) </li><li>Company van provided </li><li>Company pension scheme </li><li>Sick pay </li><li>Performance-related bonus </li><li>Full training and development </li></ul><p></p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?KmGIYyL1tv6XUBXCY0EjBYFB%2b90t0I3eu" width="0" height="0" />
