Senior Project Manager

<p>We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Programme Execution & Transformation team, leading a high-profile EU & UK MiFID II Order Execution policy change programme within a Tier 1 investment bank.<strong>Details</strong>Location - London Duration - Initially until year-endRate - £500-£580 / day Inside IR35Hybrid - 3 days / week <strong>The Role</strong>You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of a regulatory change initiative, reviewing MiFID II updates, identifying gaps across existing processes and implementing compliant solutions across business, technology, and governance frameworks.<strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead delivery of the MiFID II Order Execution policy change programme</li><li>Own project governance including plans, RAID, reporting, and stakeholder updates</li><li>Drive regulatory change from interpretation through to BAU handover</li><li>Coordinate across Front Office, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Technology teams</li><li>Oversee documentation, controls, reporting, and process enhancements</li><li>Ensure alignment with internal PMO standards and frameworks</li><li>Manage Business Analysts and support technology implementation where required.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Vast Project/Programme Management experience in Investment Banking/Markets</li><li>Strong MiFID II experience within Tier 1 banks</li><li>Proven delivery of regulatory change programmes end-to-end</li><li>Experience working with Front Office, Risk (Market/Credit), and Compliance</li><li>Strong stakeholder management and senior communication skills</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and PM methodologies</li></ul><p>If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.</p><p>Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
