<p><strong>SEND Casework Officers</strong></p><p>A Local Authority in the West Midlands is looking for several SEND Casework Officers.</p><ul><li>Rate: £270 per day</li><li>Hours: Full-time, fully remote</li><li>Contract: 3-6 months (with likely extension)</li><li>Start: ASAP</li></ul><p><strong>Role Overview:</strong></p><p>The SEND Casework Team supports over 4,600 children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities to achieve positive educational outcomes.</p><p>This role involves working closely with families and multi-agency professionals to coordinate, develop, implement, and review Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Manage and coordinate EHCP processes in line with the Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice</li><li>Produce high-quality EHCPs, ensuring they are clear, accurate, and outcomes-focused</li><li>Prepare for and attend meetings related to the EHCP process, including annual reviews</li><li>Liaise effectively with parents/carers, schools, and multi-agency professionals</li><li>Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with key stakeholders</li><li>Monitor and review EHCPs, making amendments where required</li><li>Support children and young people to achieve positive outcomes and transition successfully between education phases</li></ul><p>If you are interested please reach out to me on or call me on </p><p>INDSCGDM</p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?GCyQiLeUhGUDscuoBSTRqcKmqV1AISmcj" width="0" height="0" />
