<strong>Safeguarding Training Advisor</strong><p><strong>City & Hackney Safeguarding Children Partnership (CHSCP)</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Hackney / Hybrid<strong>Rate:</strong> £39.03 per hour (Umbrella)<strong>Working Pattern:</strong> 2-3 days per week (flexible)</p><strong>About the Role</strong><p>City & Hackney Safeguarding Children Partnership (CHSCP) is seeking an experienced <strong>Safeguarding Training Advisor</strong> to lead and deliver our multi-agency safeguarding training offer. This role is <strong>solely focused on training, learning and workforce development</strong> and is ideal for a qualified <strong>Safeguarding Trainer or Practice Educator</strong> with strong multi-agency experience.</p><p>Working closely with the Senior Professional Advisor and partnership agencies, you will ensure high-quality, effective safeguarding training that supports frontline practice and meets statutory requirements.</p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><strong>Training, Learning & Development (Primary Focus)</strong><ul><li>Lead the design, coordination and delivery of the CHSCP multi-agency safeguarding training programme.</li><li>Deliver high-quality safeguarding training (including Level 1 and Level 3) to multi-agency professionals.</li><li>Adapt training content to reflect local learning, national guidance, Serious Case Reviews / Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews, and emerging safeguarding themes.</li><li>Support the development of specialist training sessions and workshops for targeted professional groups.</li><li>Act as a subject-matter expert and trainer for safeguarding practice across agencies.</li></ul><strong>Training Coordination & Quality</strong><ul><li>Plan, schedule and coordinate virtual and in-person training sessions.</li><li>Monitor attendance, maintain training records and manage evaluation data.</li><li>Analyse feedback to continuously improve training content and delivery.</li><li>Support updates to the learning management system (LMS) and CHSCP website training pages.</li><li>Contribute to annual training reports and workforce development updates for the partnership.</li></ul><strong>Partnership Working</strong><ul><li>Build strong working relationships with statutory, voluntary and community partners.</li><li>Work collaboratively with Practice Educators, designated safeguarding leads and training leads across agencies.</li><li>Ensure training supports consistent safeguarding practice and shared professional standards.</li></ul><strong>About You</strong><p>You will be an experienced safeguarding professional with a strong background in <strong>training, learning and practice development</strong>, and the confidence to train multi-agency audiences.</p><ul><li>Relevant professional qualification (e.g. social work, teaching, youth work, early years, health or criminal justice).</li><li>Significant experience as a <strong>Safeguarding Trainer, Practice Educator or Learning & Development Lead</strong>.</li><li>Proven experience delivering safeguarding training to multi-agency audiences.</li><li>Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, statutory guidance and multi-agency working.</li><li>Experience adapting training in response to learning from reviews and local intelligence.</li><li>Confident facilitator with excellent communication and presentation skills.</li></ul><strong>Why This Role?</strong><ul><li>Flexible working (2-3 days per week).</li><li>Hybrid Working</li><li>A focused training role with real influence on safeguarding practice across City & Hackney.</li><li>Opportunity to shape and deliver high-impact multi-agency safeguarding learning.</li></ul><strong>Interested?</strong><p>To apply or find out more, please contact: <strong></strong></p><p>Commercial Services Trading Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.</p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?kvKO%2fmG%2frVoIzOODyoVkk4uTczm%2f5cjLg" width="0" height="0" />
