<strong>Night Shift Quality Control Inspector</strong><p><strong>Precision Manufacturing Monday-Thursday 17:00 - 03:15</strong></p><p>If you're someone who takes real pride in precision and enjoys being the final checkpoint between production and perfection, this night shift QC role offers the autonomy and responsibility to make a genuine impact.</p><p>Working at the heart of the inspection function, you'll be trusted to ensure that every component leaving the facility meets exacting standards - from first-off approval through to final verification.</p><strong>The Role - What You'll Own</strong><p>This isn't just ticking boxes - you'll be a key part of safeguarding product integrity across the full manufacturing lifecycle.</p><ul><li>Carry out detailed inspection of parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies against engineering drawings and customer specifications</li><li>Take responsibility for <strong>first-off inspection</strong> to keep production running efficiently and right-first-time</li><li>Produce and compile <strong>First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)</strong> with full traceability</li><li>Ensure all inspection records are accurate, complete, and audit-ready</li><li>Support goods inward inspection and verify incoming components</li><li>Identify, log, and escalate <strong>non-conformances</strong> in line with company procedures</li><li>Work closely with production and quality engineering to resolve issues and prevent recurrence</li><li>Contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement activity</li><li>Maintain strict adherence to Quality, HSE, and compliance standards</li></ul><strong>What You'll Bring</strong><p>We're looking for someone who combines technical capability with a proactive, quality-first mindset.</p><ul><li>Strong experience in <strong>precision inspection</strong> within a manufacturing environment</li><li>Confident using a range of <strong>inspection tools, gauges, and measuring equipment</strong>, including CMM</li><li>Ability to <strong>read and interpret complex engineering drawings</strong> (metric & imperial)</li><li>Experience producing or supporting <strong>FAIR documentation</strong></li><li>Knowledge of quality standards and inspection processes</li><li>Comfortable working independently on a night shift</li></ul><strong>Desirable (but not essential)</strong><ul><li>Aerospace or highly regulated industry experience</li><li>Exposure to <strong>ERP/MRP systems</strong> (Javelin advantageous)</li><li>Awareness of <strong>MSA, SPC, NDT, ISO/ASME standards</strong></li></ul><p><strong>How to Apply</strong></p><p>To apply for this exclusive opportunity, please submit an up-to-date CV by clicking the Apply button, or contact me directly for a confidential discussion.</p><p>If you have not been contacted by <strong>A1 Personnel</strong> within two weeks of submitting your application, please assume that your CV has not been shortlisted on this occasion.</p><p><strong>A1 Personnel is acting as a specialist recruitment consultancy in relation to this vacancy</strong></p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?NNcQ65VzYn3FJZQKfv6FPptVI9xFveqgz" width="0" height="0" />
