<p><strong>Year 5 Teacher </strong></p><ul><li>Location: Willenhall, Coventry, CV3</li><li>Pay Scale: MPS £32,900 - UPS £51,000 + SEN Allowance (£2,679 - £5,497)</li><li>Start Date: ASAP</li><li>Contract: Permanent (Long Term Futures)</li><li>Days / Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm</li></ul><p>Are you a passionate and adaptable teacher with a strong interest in supporting children with additional needs?</p><p>Long Term Futures are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Willenhall, Coventry, to appoint a dedicated Year 5 Teacher. The class includes a number of pupils with SEN, including several children with EHCPs, so the school is ideally seeking someone with previous SEN experience or a strong ECT with a passion for inclusive teaching and supporting children with additional needs.</p><p><strong>Main Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for a Year 5 class.</li><li>Adapt teaching strategies to support pupils with a range of SEN needs, including children with EHCPs.</li><li>Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.</li><li>Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCO, parents, and external professionals.</li><li>Monitor pupil progress and contribute to reviews and support plans where required.</li><li>Use effective behaviour management strategies to support learning and engagement.</li></ul><p><strong>What the School is Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a strong interest in SEN.</li><li>Experience supporting children with additional needs in a primary setting is desirable.</li><li>Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.</li><li>Patient, resilient, and committed to inclusive education.</li><li>A collaborative and proactive approach to teaching and learning.</li></ul><p><strong>About the School</strong></p><ul><li>One-form entry primary school with an Outstanding Ofsted rating.</li><li>Supportive and inclusive ethos with a strong focus on pupil wellbeing.</li><li>Experienced Senior Leadership Team and dedicated support staff.</li><li>Excellent SEN provision and strong links with external agencies.</li><li>Modern learning environment with a nurturing approach to education.</li></ul><p><strong>How to Apply</strong> If you feel this role is right for you, please upload your CV via the application page.
