<p><strong>Infrastructure Manager - Financial Services</strong><strong>Salary:</strong> £70,000 - £80,000 per annum<strong>Location:</strong> Remote (with occasional travel to Bristol)</p><p>We're partnering with a leading UK-based organisation within the financial services sector to recruit an experienced <strong>Infrastructure Manager</strong>. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technical leader to take ownership of a critical UNIX estate while driving modernisation through automation and DevOps practices.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>You'll lead and develop a high-performing technical team, ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of core infrastructure services. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on technical leadership.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead, manage, and develop a technical infrastructure team</li><li>Own service performance, availability, and operational stability across the UNIX/Linux estate</li><li>Drive automation and DevOps adoption (Puppet, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines)</li><li>Review current infrastructure and define a forward-looking improvement roadmap</li><li>Establish and embed operational best practices</li><li>Implement effective performance management across the team</li><li>Engage with key technical and business stakeholders</li><li>Deliver measurable improvements in service quality, automation, and system reliability</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Skills & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Strong hands-on background in <strong>UNIX/Linux (Red Hat preferred)</strong></li><li>Expertise in automation tools such as <strong>Puppet</strong> and <strong>Terraform</strong></li><li>Proven experience managing SysOps / Infrastructure teams in mid-to-large scale environments</li><li>Demonstrated track record of improving service performance and availability</li><li>Experience driving automation and DevOps initiatives</li><li>Ability to lead technical change across infrastructure estates</li><li>Credible, hands-on technical leadership style</li><li>Strong stakeholder engagement across both technical and business functions</li></ul><p><strong>Reasonable Adjustments:</strong></p><p>Respect and equality are core values to us.
