Field Service Engineer - Optical Medical Devices

<p>This is high-end optical medical equipment used by some of the biggest names on the UK high street. Precision kit. Customer-facing. And increasingly software-driven.</p><p>This isn't just spanners and screwdrivers; it's installing software, configuring, troubleshooting, and explaining tech to end users without making it sound like rocket science. You'll fit right in.</p><p><strong>What you'll be doing</strong></p><ul><li>Installing and commissioning specialist optometry equipment across clinics and practices</li><li>Servicing, fault finding, and keeping equipment running at a high standard</li><li>Handling the software side, connectivity, system setup, updates, and troubleshooting</li><li>Supporting and training users on how to actually use the kit properly</li><li>Being the face of the business on-site. </li></ul><p><strong>What you'll need</strong></p><ul><li>Background in medical devices, think X-ray, dental, hospital equipment, anything regulated and technical</li><li>Strong IT confidence. Not only can you use a laptop.
