<p></p> <strong>Electrical Maintenance Engineer</strong> <strong>Rhayader</strong> <strong>£39,000 to £40,000 per annum</strong> <strong>What You'll Do:</strong> You'll be joining a busy heavy manufacturing site where no two days are the same. This role offers genuine variety, working across the entire facility rather than being tied to a single production line. Your responsibilities will include: <ul><li> Planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across the site </li><li> Responding to breakdowns and carrying out effective fault finding on industrial machinery </li><li> Working with motors, contactors, relays, sensors, overloads, drives and inverters </li><li> Supporting electrical project work, including panel wiring and new installations </li><li> Maintaining site services such as lighting, fire alarms, sprinkler systems and ring mains </li><li> Providing basic mechanical support as part of a multi-skilled engineering team </li></ul><strong>What You'll Bring:</strong> To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong electrical background and a hands-on approach. You'll ideally have: <ul><li> Time-served experience as an Electrical Engineer or Electrician </li><li> Background in a manufacturing, industrial or heavy engineering environment </li><li> Solid knowledge of three-phase and single-phase systems, motor control circuits and safety circuits </li><li> Experience fault finding on panels, field wiring and industrial electrical systems </li><li> A proactive attitude and willingness to get involved across a varied workload </li><li> The right mindset to learn, develop and grow within a stable engineering team </li></ul> Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics or drives would be an advantage, but is not essential. <strong>Why You Should Apply:</strong> This is a great opportunity to join a well-invested manufacturing business with long-term stability and ongoing site projects.
