Telehandler Operator – Construction Project Location: Howden, East Yorkshire Contract Type: Temporary / Contract (with potential for extension) Rate: £25.00 - £30.00p/h gross DOE (Outside IR35 / Umbrella PAYE) Hours: 50 hrs per week (10hr days) Start Date: Immediate We are currently recruiting for an experienced Telehandler Operator to support a busy Engineering Construction project in the Howden area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established engineering contractor working on a high-profile site. Key Responsibilities: * Operate a telescopic handler safely and in accordance with site regulations * Move materials efficiently across site, including lifting and placing loads at height * Support site operations and assist with general duties where required * Carry out daily equipment checks and report any defects * Work collaboratively with site management and trades Requirements: * Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket (essential) * Proven experience on construction or engineering projects * Strong awareness of health and safety procedures * Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team * Full PPE and own transport preferred What’s on Offer: * Competitive hourly rate * Ongoing contract potential * Opportunity to work on a reputable and secure project * Professional and supportive site environment 📩 Interested?
