You’ll play a key role keeping advanced machine tools performing at their best while working with globally recognised industrial technology.  What’s in it for you Salary up to £45,000 with realistic OTE of £55,000 Annual company bonus and premium overtime rates Exposure to advanced 5 axis CNC machine technology 27 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays Matched contributory pension up to 7% Mobile phone, laptop and life insurance provided Your responsibilities as site-based Mechanical Engineer Install, service and repair high-precision 5 axis CNC machine tools Diagnose faults and resolve mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues Assemble, dismantle and set up large mechanical assemblies Support customers with breakdown response and corrective maintenance Carry out planned maintenance to maximise machine performance and reliability Work on customer sites across varying industrial environments What we’re looking for in a site-based Mechanical Engineer Previous experience working on CNC milling machine tools Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability on complex machinery Background within machine tool build or industrial maintenance environments Experience working within a field service or customer-facing engineering role Ability to work on hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical assemblies Working hours: Basic weekly hours 37.5. Typical working week 45 hours including overtime. Day shift only.
