<p><p> Technical & Continuous Improvement Specialist <p></p><p> South Lanarkshire <br> 30,000 - 40,000 + Benefits <br> Full Time | Permanent </p><p> A growing manufacturing business is looking to appoint a Technical & Continuous Improvement Specialist to support production, quality and manufacturing improvement activities within a fast-paced industrial environment. </p><p> This is a broad and highly visible technical role offering exposure to process improvement, quality enhancement, customer support, new product introduction, manufacturing optimisation and continuous improvement projects. </p><p> The position would suit someone from a manufacturing environment who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and working closely with production, engineering and commercial teams. </p><p> Key responsibilities include: </p><ul><li> Supporting technical and quality improvement activities across manufacturing operations </li><li> Investigating production and product-related issues and implementing corrective actions </li><li> Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, waste reduction and product performance </li><li> Supporting new product introduction and technical trials </li><li> Working with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders on technical matters </li><li> Monitoring production performance and identifying opportunities for improvement </li><li> Supporting process optimisation across manufacturing operations </li><li> Assisting with technical documentation, specifications and quality standards </li><li> Supporting cross-functional projects and operational improvement activities </li></ul><p> Candidates should ideally have: </p><ul><li> Experience within manufacturing, production, process engineering, quality or technical functions </li><li> Strong problem-solving and analytical skills </li><li> Confidence communicating with production and engineering teams </li><li> Experience within fast-paced industrial environments </li><li> Continuous improvement exposure would be advantageous </li><li> A positive, resilient and proactive attitude </li></ul><p> This role offers excellent long-term development potential and broad exposure across technical, operational and continuous improvement activities within a complex manufacturing environment. </p><p> Please note: unfortunately, this role is not open to candidates requiring sponsorship now or in the future. </p>
