Senior Accountant (Accounts and Audit)

We are delighted to be working with an international Energy business as they look to add an experienced Senior Accountant to their Reporting Team. ‍ Oversee the end-to-end process of preparing and filing statutory financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery along with audit-ready documentation. Draft and review technical accounting papers that clearly support key accounting judgments and decisions. Coordinate effectively with external auditors to meet reporting timelines and promptly escalate any significant matters to management. Evaluate balance sheet reconciliations and analytical reviews prepared by the team, offering constructive guidance and ensuring all outstanding items are addressed in a timely manner. Lead, mentor, and support the team while fostering strong collaboration with regional finance partners, promoting knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and adherence to best practices. ‍ If you are a Qualified Accountant curious as to whether this is the role to accelerate your own personal development, then I would be keen to hear from you.
