Pupil Support Assistant Ferryhill Primary School Salary: £26,806 - £27,032 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional) We are seeking to recruit a Pupil Support Assistant at Ferryhill Primary to work the following hours: Working pattern for position is Monday - Thursday 8.50am - 3.15 pm, Friday 8.50am - 12.30pm We currently have a pupil support team working throughout the school to support learning, teaching and inclusion and we are looking for another committed, passionate and inspiring member to join our team. This Pupil Support Assistant post involves working with children who require 121 support within the school. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping pupils to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally within the school environment. Experience of working 121 with children and supporting a variety of medical and additional needs is desirable. These include training around epilepsy. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
