<p><p> We have a requirement for an Offshore Drilling Materials Coordinator to join a leading Oil & Gas Operator in Aberdeen. </p><ul><li> Rotation: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off </li><li> Contract Duration: 12 months </li><li> Contract Type: Agency Worker / PAYE </li><li> Lucrative day rates on offer </li></ul><p><b> ROLE </b></p><ul><li> Co-ordinates all the planning, tracking and mobilisation of equipment and personnel in relation to offshore P&A operations. </li></ul><p><b> RESPONSIBILITIES </b></p><ul><li> Liaises with Drilling Supervisor and Onshore Logistics Co-ordinators to ensure equipment and materials arrive offshore in a timely fashion. </li><li> Responsible for preparing & issuing daily look ahead reports (forecasting) in conjunction with Drilling Supervisor. </li><li> Controlling details of all company equipment and maintain an accurate Rental Register </li><li> Liaises with marine/supply base to co-ordinate movements of supply vessels and anchor handling vessels. </li><li> Responsible for preparing & issuing Load Lists to coordinate timely arrival of equipment </li><li> Responsible for the coordination of personnel in line with offshore operational requirements </li><li> Liaises with aviation service contractor to co-ordinate scheduled crew change requirements and control flight schedules. </li><li> Responsible for checking all equipment / goods that are shipped to and from rig and report any non-conformances to Onshore DMC </li><li> Controls records of rentals, equipment and consumables, resolving issues with Onshore Materials teams and suppliers. </li><li> Preparation & control of manifests and the timely return of non-required rental items </li><li> Provide Onshore DMC with accurate list of rental equipment being returned </li><li> Ensuring that all operations are carried out in a manner consistent with the Oil and Gas UK Guidelines for the safe Packing and Handling </li><li> Co-ordinate prompt return of rental equipment and prepare accurate inbound manifests, ensuring dangerous goods and waste regulations are adhered to. </li><li> Communicating and working closely with the onshore based Onshore DMC, Peterson Base Focal Point, Offshore Drilling Contractor and all Service personnel to ensure effective operations </li></ul><p><b> REQUIREMENTS </b></p><ul><li> Offshore Survival Training Certificate, UK Medical and MIST </li><li> IATA & IMDG certification (Dangerous Goods by Air and Sea)</li></ul><p><b> Essential </b></p><ul><li> Extensive offshore experience, including specific experience in Drilling Operations within the UKCS, in a Materials role </li><li> Good practical knowledge of drilling, completion or well intervention equipment. </li><li> Proven experience and knowledge of drilling materials movements and logistical processes </li><li> A working knowledge of UK Guidelines for the safe Packing and Handling of Cargo to and from Offshore Locations Issue 4 2008 (HS014)</li><li> A good understanding of UK Customs and Excise requirements relative to role </li><li> Knowledge and understanding of health and safety processes and procedures relating to drilling logistics and operations </li></ul><p><b> Preferred </b></p><ul><li> A working knowledge of LOLER & PUWER </li><li> Occasionally may be required to provide holiday cover for Onshore Logistics Co-Ordinator </li></ul>
