This is a varied and hands-on role, offering stability, career development, and the opportunity to work with a close-knit team. </p><p><b> Key Details: </b></p><ul><li><b> Working hours: </b> Monday to Friday, <b>07:20 - 15:50</b></li><li><b> Salary: </b> 48,000 per annum (includes flexibility allowance)</li><li><b> Christmas shutdown every year </b></li><li><b> Pension scheme and production-based bonus </b></li><li><b> Overtime available at enhanced rates </b></li></ul><p><b> Your Responsibilities: </b></p><ul><li> Carry out both proactive and reactive maintenance on heavy industrial machinery. </li><li> Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues, including PLC control systems. </li><li> Support production teams to minimise downtime and ensure timely repairs. </li><li> Work across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. </li><li> Uphold good housekeeping practices and contribute to continuous improvement. </li></ul><p><b> About You: </b></p><ul><li> Time-served / modern apprenticeship in an <b> electrical engineering discipline </b> (or equivalent). </li><li> Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings. </li><li> Knowledge of PLCs, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and mechanical drive systems. </li><li> Flexible and multiskilled, with a willingness to undertake mechanical work. </li><li> Physically fit, due to the nature of the role. </li></ul><p> This is an excellent opportunity to join a secure and successful business where many employees have built long careers.
