Dalkia UK have a great opportunity for a full time Cleaner Team Leader to join our team based in the Didsbury area of Manchester
Hours of work
- Monday – Friday, 5pm-9pm (20 hour a week contract)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the general cleaning of the premises in accordance specification, under the direction of the Cleaning Supervisor
- Ensuring all cleaning materials are handled and used in the correct way in accordance with the COSHH data sheet
- Assist Cleaning Supervisor/Site Manager to ensure Cleaning team are meeting their Aims/Objectives
- Report to Cleaning Supervisor/Site Manager any Cleaning Team Issues
- Assist Cleaning Supervisor/Site Manager with Cleaning Audits when required
- Assist Cleaning Supervisor/Site Manager with Stock Control
- Assist Cleaning Supervisor/Site Manager with direction for Cleaning Team
- Assist with 1 to 1 training with Cleaners at Cleaning Supervisor/Site Manager request
Training will be provided on the following:
- iMop
- Toucan system
- Carpet cleaner
- Chewing gum remover
- Various types of vacuum cleaner
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Understand safe working practices and health and safety legislation
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Well-organised and capable of prioritising own work
- Flexible approach to working as part of a team
- Previous experience working as a cleaner or similar role
- Experience in the use of cleaning equipment
- COSHH training (Desirable)
