VAT MANAGER / SENIOR MANAGER / ASSISTANT MANAGER: Financial Services Specialism, Mid-tier firm, London: 60 – 75k guide

DescriptionThis firm has a strong and growing presence in the financial services space, particularly private equity and asset management.They’ve identified they would really welcome someone in the small, Partner-led VAT team who can focus in on the provision of advice to these kind of clients – this is a rare opportunity to use your financial services VAT expertise outside of the large firms.Your brief will be carrying our VAT reviews and managing a client portfolio, keen to work on almost exclusively consultancy work and business development matters.You’ll support (and be supported by) the senior VAT leadership on the development of the offering; key will be strong UK VAT technical skills and the ability to convey that knowledge clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.The firm is good on work/life balance and it’s an environment where you’ll find the Partners and senior leaders approachable and keen to help you develop your career.  Hybrid working here means three days a week in the office in central London, and there’s a good bonus scheme on offer too.Market rate for this kind of position is typically 60,000 to 75,000, depending on experience.
