We have an exciting opportunity for a Director, Strategy & Corporate Development to join one of the world’s leading medical technology companies. Reporting to the Vice President, Strategy & Corporate Development, this role is central to shaping our long-term growth strategy through mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.You will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic transactions that enhance our global portfolio and accelerate business performance. This is a highly visible role with regular exposure to senior leadership, including divisional executives and CEO-level stakeholders.What You Will DoIdentify, analyze, and develop opportunities for acquisitions, partnerships, and equity investments aligned to corporate strategyEvaluate potential targets by conducting market and portfolio gap analysesLead end-to-end transaction execution, including due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiationsBuild and maintain strong relationships with external partners, advisors, and stakeholdersDevelop clear, data-driven recommendations and present findings to senior leadershipCollaborate cross-functionally to support strategic initiatives and drive long-term growthWhat you need to be successful:10+ years in progressive M&A, corporate development, or business development experience within healthcare, technology, or similarly complex industriesStrong track record of successfully executing transactions in a global, multi-divisional environmentExperience in corporate development of a large company/venture capital/private equityAdvanced financial acumen, including experience with complex deal structuresDemonstrated ability to lead negotiations and manage external partnershipsStrong analytical skills with the ability to assess both qualitative and quantitative business opportunitiesEstablished professional network across investment banking, consulting, or corporate developmentEducation & SkillsBachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferredExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholdersStrong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilitiesSelf-motivated, results-oriented, and able to operate effectively both independently and within teamsResilient and adaptable, with the ability to navigate complex and evolving deal processesYou.
