Enlightenment Education is recruiting a dedicated Speech & Language Teaching Assistant to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis within a welcoming school in the DE22 area. This is a full-time, long-term role, Monday to Friday, supporting a child with speech, language and communication needs.

• Providing consistent 1:1 support to a pupil with Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN)

• Working closely with teachers and external Speech & Language Therapists

• Supporting communication development, confidence building and daily learning tasks

• Creating a calm, structured and nurturing environment

• Full-time hours: MondayFriday, 8:30am3:30pm

• Experience supporting children with SLCN or SEND

• A patient, encouraging and reliable approach

• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow SALT programmes

• Commitment to long-term work and pupil progress
