Your new company Birmingham City Council is recruiting experienced Social Workers to join its newly restructured Adult Safeguarding Team. With 5 vacancies available, this is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced service that plays a crucial role in protecting vulnerable adults and promoting their safety and wellbeing.The team will manage both Safeguarding Triage and Section 42 Enquiries under one service, led by an experienced Team Manager and supported by permanent Senior Practitioners. Your new role You will be responsible for assessing and managing safeguarding concerns, undertaking timely visits, making evidence-based decisions, and coordinating safeguarding enquiries in line with statutory responsibilities.This is a high-volume, fast-moving environment where prompt decision-making is essential.
