Site Manager required in EssexGVR Solutions are currently representing a well-established main contractor, based in Essex, who are looking for a Site Manager / Construction Manager to join their team.As a contractor they typically work on fit out and interior projects within the Retail, Commercial, Education, industrial and Automotive sectors.This opportunity will be best suited to a Manager who is not adverse to a little bit of travel as most sites are in Essex and the southeast.50K – 60K + Company van Daily responsibilities for the successful Site Manager will include: Working and reporting to the Project managerThe role will require you to ensure the successful delivery of works on budget, on time and, in a safe manner and fully in accordance with company policy and proceduresManaging contractors and direct operatives, ensuring planned works are completed on time and within budgetYou will work closely with the supply chain to ensure delivery, prepare work programmes, weekly reporting, hold regular meetings with supply chain and client, and providing high quality technical expertise on electrical worksManaging and maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.Requirements for the role of Site Manager:5 – 7 years’ experience working as the No.1 Site ManagerFast track fit out and refurbishment experienceMust be client facingHighly driven and have a good eye for detail & qualitySMSTSCSCS CardFirst AidAsbestos AwarenessTemporary worksTrade background is preferential but not essentialIf you are interested in the above Site Manager position, then please get in touch.
