Senior Process Engineer
Lithography Location: Northampton We are recruiting for a leading semiconductor and photonic device manufacturer seeking a
Senior Process Engineer specialising in Lithography . You will support
process development, optimisation, NPI, yield improvement, defect reduction and continuous improvement
within an advanced semiconductor fabrication facility. Key Responsibilities:
Develop, optimise and sustain
photolithography and e-beam lithography
processes. Support and optimise scanners, steppers, mask aligners, coaters, developers and e-beam systems. Improve
critical dimensions, overlay, yield and process capability . Lead process development, qualification and equipment cross-qualification. Analyse manufacturing data using
SPC, DOE, Six Sigma and statistical techniques . Drive yield, defect, scrap and cycle-time improvement. Support
NPI and technology transfer . Work closely with Process, Equipment, Product Engineering, Manufacturing and R&D teams. Provide technical support for process and equipment issues. Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures. Requirements:
HNC/HND, Degree, Master's or PhD in
Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Semiconductor Technology
or a related discipline. Experience within
semiconductor, photonics, compound semiconductor, MEMS, optoelectronics or advanced manufacturing . Strong experience in
photolithography and/or e-beam lithography . Knowledge of
SPC, Six Sigma, DOE, Lean Manufacturing and root-cause analysis . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working within a high-technology manufacturing or cleanroom environment. Knowledge of
MES
would be advantageous. Knowledge of
photonic integrated circuit manufacturing
