Senior HR Advisor
to join our
Sherburn-in-Elmet operation . This is a
full-time, permanent role , working
Monday to Friday, 08:00
16:00 , where you'll provide a comprehensive HR service while playing a fundamental role in supporting the delivery of the site People Plan, aligning culture, talent, structure and processes. Supporting a large and diverse workforce across a 24/7 operation, you'll work closely with site leadership teams to create a high performing, engaged and compliant working environment. salary of £38,000 per annum , alongside

What youll do on a typical day: Support and actively drive site culture, working closely with senior leaders and operational teams to enhance the employee experience across all stages of the colleague lifecycle Lead talent, succession planning and performance management activities, supporting development plans, appraisals and the annual performance cycle across the operation Provide expert HR advice and guidance on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, TUPE, redundancy, performance and absence cases, managing more complex matters when required Support managers through coaching, training and development initiatives, helping to build capability and confidence in people management Drive HR projects, engagement initiatives, people analytics and continuous improvement activities while deputising for the HR Manager when required What you need to succeed at GXO: Previous experience in a Senior HR Advisor, HR Advisor or HR Generalist role within a fast-paced operational, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing environment Strong working knowledge of UK Employment Law, employee relations processes and complex case management Experience supporting talent management, succession planning, engagement initiatives and organisational change activities Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility and challenge constructively at all levels Ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified or above, with excellent organisational skills and a passion for developing people and driving positive change We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains
