PCB Assembler
Location: Basingstoke
£13.00 per hour
Mon-Thu 8:00-17:00
Fri 8:00-15:30

Role Overview
You'll assemble printed circuit boards using
through-hole and/or SMT techniques , working to detailed build guides, customer specifications, and
IPC-J-STD-001 Class 3
workmanship standards.
Key Responsibilities
PCB assembly
using through-hole and/or SMT techniques.
Following written work instructions and item lists to build products to customer specifications.
Soldering
resistors, capacitors, ICs, connectors, and other components.
Identifying and reporting faults or inconsistencies in components or documentation.
Reworking and repairing PCBs
when required.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
Requirements
Previous experience in
PCB assembly .
Strong
through-hole and/or SMT soldering
skills.
Ability to read and interpret
technical drawings and build guides .
High accuracy, attention to detail, and good manual dexterity.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Experience
Experience working with
older design boards
as well as modern designs.
Familiarity with
IPC standards
(e.g., IPC-A-610).
Background in
electronics or manufacturing environments .
