We have an amazing opportunity for you to become a Personal Assistant to a recent Law graduate.
Start Date : 7th September 2026 Location : Okehampton, Devon Shift Pattern : 7 days on / 7 days off (Live-In) Pay : £195 per day / £1,365 per week Rate of Pay & Benefits Free accommodation while on shift Holidays: 5.6 weeks (pro rata) Bespoke training in the clients particular requirements On-call support from client coordinator About the Role This is a fantastic opportunity to support a recent graduate, in her early twenties, who lives at her family home in Devon. On shift, youll provide assistance with daily tasks including minimal personal care, cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, helping her put on shoes and a coat, and providing general support to help her live independently. Our client lives in her family home, so it is essential that you can respect boundaries when in a working environment. Whats the Role? I have a physical disability and need someone around for help now and again and to be on stand-by to keep me safe. My disability means I cant walk and use an electric wheelchair to get around. Because my disability is purely physical, I can easily explain what I need help with and when; therefore, no previous care experience is required. Im looking for someone who is easy-going and reliable to help me with daily living. On shift, this could include helping me cook, doing laundry, cleaning, walking my dog together and helping me put on shoes and a coat. This job has lots of down-time and so would suit someone able to occupy themselves. Many of my previous PAs have completed online qualifications and training or even studied for their degree whilst working. This job can also sometimes be extremely busy. On occasion, you may accompany me on trips away, when out and about around town, or to hospital appointments in locally and in London. I also travel regularly with my job or to see friends, so you will be required to attend with me. My days vary so a can-do attitude is very important. I also have a wheelchair adapted vehicle (automatic) that I can drive myself. However, there will be occasions where I will want you to drive the car, so a driver is essential. Although this role is very personal and we will spend your working week together, it is essential that you take your responsibility within the job seriously.
