Job DescriptionAnalyse market data to identify growth opportunities and trends within the FMCG industry.Develop and execute category strategies to meet business objectives.Collaborate with internal marketing and sales teams to align category plans with overall business goals.Build strong relationships with key retailers and stakeholders to drive category performance.Monitor competitor activity and provide actionable recommendations to maintain a competitive edge.Prepare and present category performance reports to senior management.Manage category budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation.Support the development of innovative solutions to address consumer needs in London and beyond.The Successful Applicant As the role is open to junior category managers or category managers:Junior: Open to candidates from a sales, buying, category or analytical backgroundCommerciality must be demonstrated but transferable skills are preferred over previous roleOpen to candidates outside of FMCGCategory Manager To be considered at Category Manager level previous FMCG experience is requiredOpen to sales, category, buying or analytical backgroundsThe role is 5 days a week in LondonWhat's on OfferA competitive salary ranging from 35,000 to 55,000, depending on experience.A permanent position within a medium-sized company in the FMCG industry.
