We are currently working exclusively with a successful specialist banking business in Cardiff. Reporting to Head of IT the role of IT Technical & Operations Manager is responsible for the secure, stable and efficient undertaking of the bank’s technology operations. The responsibilities will include the workplace platform, core systems, cyber security trolling and the controlled adoption of approved AI-enabled technologies.

Own and administer MS365 environment including Exchange Online, Sharepoint, Teams, OneDrive and Azure AD
Maintain identity governance controls including MFA, condition access & access reviews
Oversee configuration, user access management and integration of business systems
Coordinate with platform providers, vendors and managed service partners to implement updates & changes
Support the operation and configuration of security tooling including MS Defender, DMP & monitoring platforms
Support the controlled adoption of MS Copilot, Copilot Studio and other AI enabled tools
Act as the senior escalation point for complex technical queries and issues
