This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, paid breaks, guaranteed minimum shift pay and ongoing work with a leading logistics business. This role would suit candidates with experience as an LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, HGV C Driver or Truck Driver. £16.89 - £21.12 Per Hour | All Breaks Paid | Ongoing Work | Various Shifts Available Shifts • Various shifts available • AM shifts starting from 6:00am Rates of Pay • Monday to Saturday: £16.89 per hour • Sunday: £21.12 per hour Benefits As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will receive: • Ongoing work with a leading company in the industry • Excellent hourly rates • All breaks paid • Weekly pay • Comprehensive training programme • Opportunity to work with an established and reputable business Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include: • Working varied shift patterns • Driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently • Completing approximately 6–7 product deliveries to stores across the UK each day • Ensuring all loads are maintained at the correct temperatures throughout the journey • Taking photographs to document successful deliveries • Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations • Reporting any customer concerns promptly to management • Completing vehicle checks and reporting defects where necessary Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need: • Minimum of one year's experience as an HGV Class 2 / HGV C Driver • Valid UK Category C Driving Licence • Valid Driver CPC Card • Valid Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six penalty points for minor offences • No major endorsements, including DR10, DG10, IN10 or TT99 • Strong customer service and communication skills • Good spoken and written English • Excellent timekeeping and reliability Desirable Experience • Previous commercial driving experience • Experience completing store deliveries • Familiarity with cage deliveries and temperature-controlled distribution Training Provided • First-day assessment • Industry-related training provided • Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as an HGV Class 2 Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
