Published June 8, 2026 Location Coventry, United Kingdom Category Construction Job Type PermanentReference JN080626 Salary 55000 - 65000 per annum Start date 2026-06-08 Contact Name Jacob Newby Contact Email apply.a4ljw55miyo9@aptrack.co.uk DescriptionSenior EngineerCivil EngineeringCoventry55,000 - 65,000About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our growing Civil Engineering team delivering major drainage and infrastructure packages on long-term projects including HS2 and associated civils works.The successful candidate will take responsibility for site engineering activities, technical compliance, quality assurance and coordination of drainage and civil engineering works from planning through to completion.Key Responsibilities:Manage engineering activities on drainage and civils packagesReview construction drawings and technical specificationsLead site setting out and survey activitiesProduce and manage RFIs, NCRs and technical queriesReview and implement ITPs, RAMS and quality documentationCoordinate subcontractors and site teamsEnsure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specificationManage as-built records and survey informationSupport project delivery teams with planning and progress reportingLiaise with clients, designers and principal contractorsRequirements:Previous experience as a Senior Engineer, Section Engineer or Site EngineerStrong background in civil engineering, infrastructure or drainage worksExperience delivering drainage packages including pipework, chambers, culverts or associated infrastructureGood understanding of QA procedures and technical documentationExperience using Leica, Trimble or equivalent survey equipmentAbility to interpret engineering drawings and specificationsExcellent communication and leadership skillsIf you’re interested in the role or have any further questions, please apply or contact me via Jacob.newby@kentonblack.com
