This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional who understands the complexities of music rights, publishing, licensing, royalties, and rights management, and has an established network across the music industry.You will identify and develop new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and engage with senior stakeholders across music publishers, rights holders, collecting societies, digital platforms, and industry service providers.What You'll Be DoingDevelop and execute business development strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansionIdentify, engage, and convert new clients and strategic partners within the music rights and licensing sectorBuild and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities from prospecting through contract negotiation and closureFoster long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders and decision-makersRepresent the company at music industry conferences, trade events, and networking forumsMonitor developments in music publishing, licensing, royalty administration, and rights technologyCollaborate with legal, product, and operational teams to develop commercial opportunitiesProvide market intelligence, competitive insights, and growth recommendations to senior leadershipWhat We're Looking ForRequired5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, licensing, account management, or commercial rolesProven success in generating revenue, developing partnerships, and closing complex commercial dealsStrong understanding of the music rights ecosystem, including publishing rights, licensing, royalty flows, rights administration, or copyright managementExperience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract executionExcellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skillsAbility to engage senior executives and industry decision-makersHighly PreferredDirect experience within music publishing, music rights management, licensing, royalty services, rights technology, collective management organizations, or adjacent music industry businessesExisting network across music publishers, songwriters, rights holders, collecting societies, DSPs, labels, or industry service providersKnowledge of UK and European music rights marketsExperience developing strategic partnerships within the music industryWhy Apply?Opportunity to work at the intersection of music, technology, and rights managementExposure to leading organizations across the music industryCompetitive salary and performance-based bonusHybrid working environmentCollaborative and high-growth business environmentSalary: 57,000 - 63,000 + bonus
