Audit + Accounts Semi Senior / Senior | Independent Accountants | Northampton

Working with a broad spectrum of clients, from individuals and sole traders to partnerships and thriving limited companies, the firm offers full-service accounting, including audit, statutory financial preparation, tax compliance, VAT, and business advisory. Responsibilities As an Audit + Accounts Semi Senior / Senior you will:
Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies using accounting systems such as IRIS, Xero, and QuickBooks. Support or lead audit assignments from initial planning and risk assessment through to fieldwork execution and file completion. Draft accurate corporation tax computations and assist with personal tax calculations and VAT returns. Prepare management accounts and handle bookkeeping tasks where required. Liaise directly with client management teams and business owners, acting as a trusted main point of contact for day-to-day queries. Identify areas where clients may benefit from additional advisory services or process improvements. Work closely with Partners to deliver high-quality client service and assist in mentoring junior team members.
