Adults ASD Service Lead 62,321 – 69,500 + NHS-aligned pension | Full-time | Flexible working | South of BirminghamAre you an experienced neurodevelopmental clinician ready to take on a senior leadership position within an adult autism service?We’re working with a clinician-led healthcare provider to appoint an Adults ASD Service Lead. This is a key leadership role, responsible for supporting safe and effective service delivery while providing strong oversight of clinical quality, governance, performance and team development.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape and improve the Adult ASD pathway, working alongside experienced clinical and operational colleagues within a well-governed service.What you’ll be doing Provide clinical and operational leadership across the Adult ASD service.Oversee safe, high-quality diagnostic assessment and service delivery.Manage capacity, waiting lists, triage arrangements and service performance.Lead and support a multidisciplinary team, including line management and supervision.Oversee clinical governance, safeguarding, risk management and quality improvement.Support pathway development, SOPs, audit and improvements to clinical standards.What we’re looking for You’ll need significant post-qualification experience within ASD assessment, neurodevelopmental or mental health services, alongside experience in a senior clinical leadership role.You should have:Current NMC registration with Advanced Clinical Practice, or HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist.Direct experience working within ASD assessment pathways.Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, including supervision and line management.Strong knowledge of clinical governance, safeguarding, risk and quality improvement.Experience managing service delivery, capacity and performance within a busy clinical environment.What’s on offer? 62,321 – 69,500 per yearNHS-aligned pensionFull-time, flexible workingStructured learning and developmentClinical leadership opportunitiesCareer progressionOpportunity to influence and improve the Adult ASD serviceAbout the service You’ll be joining a clinician-led healthcare provider delivering high-quality NHS services through multidisciplinary teams.The Adult ASD service provides a multidisciplinary diagnostic assessment pathway for patients aged 16+, with a strong focus on clinical quality, patient safety, meaningful outcomes and robust governance.If you’re an experienced ASD clinician looking for a role where you can combine clinical expertise with meaningful service leadership, we’d be keen to hear from you.Contact Chris at Leaders in Care on 07897 024978 for a confidential conversation and further information.
