Production Operative - Thread Lock Technician

Location: HD9 Hours: 7.30AM-4.30PM About the Role We are looking for a Thread Lock Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for the accurate application of thread locking compounds, preparation of materials, stock control, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness. Key Responsibilities * Apply thread locking compounds accurately and efficiently. * Prepare and load work for daily and weekly production. * Manage external purchase orders, packing, and shipping when required. * Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workstation. * Complete end-of-shift and end-of-week close-down procedures. * Handle, store, and dispose of chemicals safely in line with COSHH requirements. * Carry out weekly stock checks and report shortages. * Complete effective handovers and support colleagues when required. * Assist with training new team members where necessary. * Use IT systems About You You will have: * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. * Good organisational and time-management skills. * The ability to work independently and as part of a team. * A responsible and reliable approach to work. * An understanding of chemical handling and COSHH. * Good IT skills and communication skills. * A willingness to learn and take ownership of your work.
