Lead Electrical Design Engineer

Hexwired are recruiting for a Southampton based engineering consultancy specialising in thermal technologies. Now seeking a lead electrical design engineer to join their multidisciplinary engineering team and play a key role in the design, development and manufacture of cutting edge products. The company are expanding due to the requirements of their clients and are now seeking a lead electrical design engineer ideally with experience across power conversion, transformers, switches, converters and SMPS. Key skills: * Degree educated in Electrical engineering or similar * Experience with electrical and electronic system architecture and requirements definition * Strong understanding of thermal management systems and materials considerations for an industrial environment * Experienced in Electrical and electronic systems engineering, including power conversion, transformers, switches, converters, SMPS * Experience in Industrial automation, control systems and industrial software * Experience with Control Panel design (HMI, PLC, SCADA) The company are looking to offer Circa £65k dependant on experience alongside an excellent benefits package.
