Job description
Insolvency Administrator – Manchester
£25,000 - £35,000 - depending on experience
We are currently recruiting for the role of Insolvency Administrator on behalf of an established insolvency practice based in Manchester.
The role would suit someone with existing insolvency experience, but they are also open to candidates from relevant backgrounds such as IVA/debt solutions, debt recovery, recoveries or debt management, where the individual has strong case management experience and is looking to move further into insolvency.
The Manchester office is growing due to an increasing volume of work, with the successful candidate joining a small team and working closely with the IPs across a varied caseload.
The work is predominantly CVLs, with additional exposure to CWUs, MVLs, IVAs and Administrations.
The role will involve:
*
Progressing insolvency cases from appointment through to closure
*
Preparing statutory and case-related documentation
*
Dealing with creditors, directors and other stakeholders
*
Assisting with investigations and asset realisations
*
Dealing with creditor claims and distributions
*
Preparing reports and other case paperwork
*
Liaising with solicitors, agents and other professional advisers
*
Supporting the IPs with the day-to-day management of the caseload
For candidates already working in insolvency, CVL experience would be particularly relevant, although experience across other procedures would also be considered.
For those coming from an adjacent background, experience in areas such as IVA/debt solutions, debt recovery, recoveries, debt management, personal bankruptcy or restructuring could be relevant, particularly where you have experience managing cases and dealing with customers, creditors or other stakeholders.
CPI would be an advantage but isn’t essential.
The key requirement is someone who is looking to build a long-term career in insolvency and has demonstrated stability and continuity in their employment history.
If you’re currently working in insolvency, debt solutions, recovery, debt management or a related area and are considering your next move, please get in touch or submit your CV
