Cnc Programmer Setter Operator

CNC Miller Rotherham £17.75 per hour Actio Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company in Rotherham for an experienced CNC Miller to join their skilled team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled, apprentice-trained machinist looking for a stable, long-term role within a busy jobbing shop environment, manufacturing high-quality components from one-offs through to small batch production. The Role * Setting and operating cnc milling machines * Programming and editing using Heidenhain * Manufacturing a wide variety of precision-engineered components * Working from engineering drawings to produce parts to tight tolerances * Producing predominantly one-off and small batch work * Carrying out self-inspection to ensure quality standards are met * Working independently with minimal supervision * Maintaining a safe and organised working environment Candidate Requirements * Qualified engineer * Previous experience operating and setting CNC milling machines * Experience with Heidenhain controls * Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings * Comfortable producing one-off and small batch components * Able to work accurately to tight tolerances * Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision Hours Monday to Friday * 7:30am – 4:00pm Overtime available.
