About The Team:
The Quality Team at SRUC works to ensure our Further, Higher and Postgraduate Education provision meets high academic standards and regulatory requirements. The team support staff across all campuses by coordinating quality processes, managing programme validations and verification/moderation activity, and providing guidance on academic regulations and assessment. By working closely with awarding bodies, PSRBs and academic teams, we help maintain compliance, enhance the student experience, and uphold the quality and integrity of SRUCs educational offering.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QA Administrator to join SRUC, providing essential administrative support to the Quality team. In this varied and rewarding role, you will contribute to the development and effective implementation of robust Quality Assurance processes that underpin high quality education and training provision. Your work will play a vital role in ensuring that continuous improvement of the student learning experience is driven by strong quantitative and qualitative evidence, supporting excellence across all programmes.
As a key member of the team, you will support a wide range of quality assurance and governance activities, including programme approvals, external verification, validation events, and compliance with regulatory frameworks. You will liaise with awarding bodies such as Qualifications Scotland, Lantra and City & Guilds, coordinate external examiners and review panels, and maintain accurate records across multiple systems. The role also involves administering important student-focused processes (including mitigating circumstances, appeals, and academic conduct) requiring a high level of organisation, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive information. You will also contribute to data analysis, reporting, digital workflow development, and the coordination of key events such as external reviews and quality visits.

Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be educated to SCQF Level 7/8 or possess equivalent relevant professional experience. Strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a clear commitment to upholding high standards in education are essential for this role.
