Job description

We are currently working in partnership with an innovative Belfast-headquartered business to appoint aFinancial Controllerto their growing local team.

This company serves a global client base and is positioned for long-term expansion. AsFinancial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the executive team—particularly the CEO—by ensuring robust financial governance, driving process improvements, and providing insight to guide strategic decision-making.

What’s On Offer:

  • £60,000 – £65,000 base salary (depending on experience)

  • Hybrid working model (2 days in-office, flexible hours)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of month-end and year-end financial close

  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to senior leadership

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls

  • Manage the audit process, liaising with external auditors

  • Maintain and develop scalable financial systems and processes

  • Support commercial decision-making with financial insights and modelling

  • Drive process efficiencies and support business-wide financial strategy

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)

  • Strong technical background in financial reporting and controls

  • Proven ability to lead financial processes and engage senior stakeholders
