Van Driver – Includes Warehouse & Computer Work – Glasgow People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver, 3.5 Tonne Driver, Home Delivery Driver, Driver/Warehouse Operative, or Warehouse & Delivery Driver to join our well-established client based in Glasgow .

This is a fantastic opportunity offering £13.00 per hour, Monday to Friday working, no weekends, immediate starts, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established business.
This is a varied role combining driving, warehouse duties, and computer-based order processing, making it ideal for candidates looking for more than just a driving position.
Shifts • Monday to Friday • 08:00 start times Rates of Pay • £13.00 per hour • Weekly pay Benefits As a Van Driver, you will receive: • No weekend work • Monday to Friday working pattern • Opportunity for a permanent position • Weekly pay • Free on-site parking • Immediate starts available • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Day-to-Day Duties As a Van Driver, your duties will include: • Completing customer deliveries in a timely manner while adhering to health and safety guidelines • Working with a driver's mate or second driver when required due to two-person lifting • Delivering products to customers' room of choice • Making deliveries to residential properties • Providing excellent customer service at all times • Carrying out general warehouse duties as required • Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch • Inputting and processing customer orders using computer systems • Assisting with stock control and general housekeeping duties Essential Skills As a Van Driver, you will need: • Valid UK Category B Driving Licence • Minimum of 12 months' experience driving 3.5 tonne vehicles • Previous multi-drop delivery experience • No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no IN10, DR10, or DD10 endorsements • Good computer skills and confidence using order processing systems • Strong customer service skills • Good communication skills • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Desirable Experience • At least 12 months' multi-drop delivery experience • Previous warehouse experience would be advantageous • Experience working in a fast-paced delivery or logistics environment would be beneficial • Experience using stock systems or computerised order processing would be desirable Training Provided • Paid site induction and assessment prior to starting • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply If you are ready to take on this opportunity as a Van Driver, apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch. xwzovoh
