Supply Chain Manager

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager with a strong procurement / buying background to support complex defence programmes.

This is a P3-level role with no line management responsibility, making it a good fit for an experienced Senior Buyer looking to step into a broader role.

You will manage suppliers, negotiate contracts, support procurement activity and ensure programme requirements are delivered on time and at the right cost.

The role offers the opportunity to work on interesting, high-profile projects that are not run-of-the-mill.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement and buying activities.
• Identify and manage suppliers.
• Lead negotiations and tendering.
• Manage supplier performance and resolve issues.
• Support subcontract negotiations and proposals.
• Monitor supply chain risks.
• Build strong supplier relationships.

Requirements

• Strong buying, procurement or supply chain experience.
• Construction, engineering or defence experience preferred.
• Experience negotiating and managing suppliers/subcontractors.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• MCIPS, IACCM or WCC advantageous.

Security Clearance

UK citizenship is required for this position. xwzovoh You must also be able to obtain and maintain SC level UK Government security clearance.
