We are looking for a Senior Scala Developer to join a Markets Technology team building real-time, event-driven applications within a regulated banking environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering and application development background, with hands-on experience building production systems in Scala.

Key Requirements

• Strong Scala development experience
• Senior-level experience with the ability to take ownership of delivery
• Proven experience building and supporting production-grade applications
• Experience with Kafka or similar event-streaming technologies
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including xwzovoh design, testing and deployment
• Experience developing real-time, event-driven applications
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using AI tools as part of the software development process
• Financial services experience strongly preferred
