Job description
Our Ofsted-registered childrens residential provision in Colchester islooking for an experienced Senior Residential Support Workers to join us.

This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in residential childcare who can confidently lead teams, manage complex and challenging behaviours, and provide consistent, trauma-informed care to the most vulnerable children who have experienced adverse childhoods.
The home supports 5 to 13 year olds with EBD and challenging behaviours

The Responsible Individual regularly visits the homes, offers guidance, and remains consistently available creating a culture where staff feel supported, not isolated.
You will have meaningful conversations about development and progression, growth isnt delayed its encouraged. We actively develop our people because we want todays Support Workers to becometomorrows Deputy and Registered Managers.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience in childrens residential care (essential)
Supervisory experience (essential)
Leadership, resilience, empathy, and honesty
Strong communication and organisational skills
A passion for supporting children and young people

£15.23 per hour + sleep-in rate £50
Free extensive training + Level 4 qualification after probation
Clear progression to Deputy & Registered Manager roles
