We're recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor to commercially manage planned maintenance and refurbishment projects across the East Midlands. With a salary up to £60,000, a bonus opportunity up to 25% and ongoing career development, this is an attractive next step for a QS with social housing or planned works experience.
You'll manage projects from tender through to final account, working closely with clients, operational teams and subcontractors to control costs, protect margins and keep delivery on track.

Your role
Measure, price and evaluate tenders, managing commercial activity through to project completion.
Produce cost forecasts and Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reports, monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to improve margins.
Prepare and manage valuations, payment notices and invoices.
Manage subcontractor accounts and applications for payment across direct labour and subcontracted works.
Identify and manage commercial risk, working with operational teams to keep projects within budget.
What you'll bring
Previous Quantity Surveying experience, including at least two years in planned works or planned maintenance.
Experience within social housing, refurbishment, property services or a similar environment.
Strong cost management skills, with experience producing CVRs, forecasts, valuations and payment notices.
Subcontractor account management experience and knowledge of the NHF Schedule of Rates and coding system.
Strong Excel skills, commercial awareness and attention to detail.
A BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to projects across the East Midlands.
