Lead Data Engineer (Semarchy)

A government delivery group is transforming its services. To do that, it needs to join together and master the data from every source across its current and new systems. Semarchy is the tool of choice, and we need skilled Semarchy engineers who can work alongside architecture colleagues and service teams to inform and set the strategy, as well as doing the work to complete the build in the tool.
Role purpose
Design, develop, configure and support Semarchy xDM solutions for Master Data Management (MDM), data ingestion, workflow automation, validation, governance and integration with enterprise systems. You'll build scalable, secure solutions that support business processes, data quality controls, workflow-driven approvals and two-way data exchange across multiple platforms.
Essential technical skills
Semarchy xDM
Strong experience designing and developing Semarchy xDM applications
Creating and maintaining: Data models for reference and master data domains
Golden records
Reference data and master data
Hierarchies
Match & merge and survivorship rules
Workflow management and issue resolution
Data management principles: data quality, enrichment and validation
Experience with data certification processes
Knowledge of data stewardship and governance processes, including the difference between data stewards and data custodians
Technology: We use and promote Azure Databricks, Azure APIM and Redis caches (for performance).
Note: This role requires SC clearance. xwzovoh The additional vetting may take longer than a standard onboarding process.
